Excavation & Trenching Safety

Service Description

E&A Safety Group provides specialized safety support for excavation and trenching operations to help contractors identify hazards, evaluate site conditions, and maintain appropriate protective measures throughout the work. Our safety professionals work with project management, supervisors, competent persons, operators, and field crews to review excavation conditions and help address hazards before and during operations. Support may include review of soil conditions, trench depth, access and egress, spoil-pile placement, sloping, benching, shoring, shielding, underground utilities, equipment proximity, water accumulation, controlled access areas, and changing site conditions. Our team can also provide field inspections, corrective-action follow-up, documentation, toolbox talks, and stand-downs related to excavation and trenching safety. Our goal is to help contractors manage one of construction’s highest-risk activities with stronger planning, field oversight, and compliance with applicable OSHA excavation requirements.
